Bill O’Reilly needs a hug. But who will oblige him?
The Fox News point man needs a hug so desperately that he runs the risk of losing his sanity.
All those in show business (yes, he is in show business) know that controversy sells. But there is a point where diminishing return sets in. I think Bill O’Reilly is getting there. The tragedy is that he does not know it.
Just like Congress man, Peter King of Long Island, O’Reilly has this illusion that he is saying things that many Americans feel.
The problem with thinking and feeling and saying things for other people is that one runs the risk of listening to the voices in his head.
One day after his memorial, Bill O’Reilly went after Michael Jackson like a he-goat on heat. Watching him, there is no doubt that the poor man needs a hug.
We are all entitled to our theatrics. The real test of our usefulness will not come until hundred years after our death.
Hundred years from now, when told of Bill O’Reilly, people who will occupy these United States then will ask, Bill who?
If you see Bill O’Reilly, please give him a hug.
