Craigslist Killer and the End of Innocence

I visit Craigslist daily.

I have had cause to do business on craigslist. Not the personals type.

On Craigslist, like other online business transaction sites, you worry about fraud. You want to pick up purchases in a public place. You want to pay with cash and only when you have the product on hand.

Now you have to worry about being murdered. Thanks to Philip Markoff, the 22-year-old Boston University medical student who murdered Julissa Brisman, in a luxury Boston hotel. It was part of a crime wave that targeted vulnerable women.

He was a clean-cut student who had everything going for him. He had no criminal record. He came from a good family. He had a fiancée he was getting ready to marry. But he also had a dark side he did not show anyone.

This most unlikely suspect adds to the long list of most unlikely suspects who have been caught in horrendous crimes. The same goes for Melissa Huckaby, the California woman who teaches Sunday school and is now accused of killing her daughter’s playmate.

Now we all are suspects until proven otherwise. Not your look, your status, your smile, your demeanor will exempt you if you are remotely connected to a scene of a crime.

Not long ago, it used to be that when you call the police and report a crime, the police begin to look outside for possibly suspects. Now, they begin from you as the suspect.

One of Philip Markoff’s undoing was his use of email to communicate with the women victims. His emails tied him to the crimes.

The new fingerprint is your IP address. While seasoned criminals wear gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints, the internet criminals haven’t yet figured out what glove to wear to cover their IP address.

It is a sad day for we all are now seen as criminals until proven innocent.

Yah we are all suspects until proven otherwise. I wonder why the world has changed so much i would say everyone has become capable of committing any form of crime,in our country there is an upsurge of young men killing their girlfriends and committing suicide. I do not understand why it has become so easy to kill.

We are born to be aggressive at birth and because there are more of us and the media is in our faces ,then it seems things are more violent
We are an imperfect animal and some flaws show up in our mental makeup
To ask why or why not to A so called normal would be appropriate but to a nut they can’t hear

So we should relax and enjoy? Is that the point?

I didn’t stay stand still, but if we understood how we work and not try to mend things with dizzy emotion we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in
This message will be lost to most humans who are blinded by nature and will never understand what is needed for change-thus humans keep consuming themselves with stupidity

How do we work? And how do we mend things without dizzy emotions?

This time, try me with a straight answer.

Does logic have the answers –yes ,but logic doesn’t run the world
Here is how we work even though most cant understand what is normalcy? Isn’t what is normal for one person abnormal for another person? I think that what is normal where you live is only what is acceptable to the people that live where you live, so, if you want to know what is “normal” for them and possibly you just look at your neighbors and your family and look at your background and, then, take a good look at who you are and, then, think hard about who it is you want to be some day. I think that most people will find this seemingly simple thinking process not to be as simple as they would first think because of the peer pressures that their own background and their own surroundings and their own brainwashed idealism will actually press down severely on their thoughts. Others simply will not want or care to be anything other than what they are now and for them the world’s problems and their own problems will be simply worked out. For them all will go well and be good even if all the world around them is falling seemingly to pieces and nothing is really changing for the better at all.
Bottom line the fight for the strongest gens and it has no sympathy
