It is getting hot in here.

Less than six months in office, the Republicans have launched the campaign for President Obama’s replacement. In fact, the move to impeach Obama started before he was even sworn in as president.

The Republicans are running scare -and for good reasons too. Confronted with a popular Democratic president with a high job approval level, the Republicans are desperate to find something to hold on to.

They are throwing everything but nothing is sticking. They hope he fails, but things are looking up.

Because the Republicans cannot accuse the American voters of being fools of President Obama, they do what all desperate politicians do- they blame the media.

The new line of attack is that the media is in the pocket of the president. The same media that propped up that ‘secret socialist Muslim’ is in bed with Obama while America rots away.

Recently, they found the proof.

Brian Williams, the anchor of NBC Evening news is now being accused of bowing before Obama during an exclusive interview with the president at the White House.

Leading the charge is the frustrated daughter of the man Obama defeated in November, Meghan McCain. She believes no journalist has ever shown any kind of respect to a Republican president. Forget that these same journalists were either dinning with Dick Cheney or hiding their faces in fear while President Bush fooled the nation.

This is not the first time bowing has been an issue for Republicans. When Obama visited Turkey, he was accused of bowing before Saudi’s King Abdullah.

You will notice that nothing like that happened when Obama visited King Abdullah last week in Saudi Arabia.

Obama knows that the Republicans have no grasp of issues of concern to the American people today. He is making sure he does not let them use non-issues to distract Americans.

It used to be okay to have as president someone you did not vote for. These days, some people could not get themselves to call him president. And it is not like he will be there for life.

I bow to Republicans.

I bow because Republicans know what works.

If you accuse the media of being unpatriotic, they hide their faces in the sand. It worked for them when President Bush was in power. If you accuse them of being in the president’s pocket, they move out of the street and have their faces buried in the gutters.
