I watch Glenn Beck every night to see what the other side is thinking.

The other day, he read a letter from his viewer that sounded unique. She was a Democrat who became a Republican in the last election. She was frustrated by all the politics and the politicians and threatened to kick them all out. She said she was coming to wipe the slate clean with her silent majority who could not bear it anymore.

Here is her letter.

I read the letter today. It sounded better when read by Glenn Beck, with all his theatrics. In reality, Janet Contreras, is a Glenn Beck soundboard. She reflected a typical Glenn Beck viewer who digested his venom and regurgitated it. No wonder Glenn liked it so much.

Whatever Janet Contreras’ concerns are, she forgot that her camp lost the last election and will probably lose the next one unless she goes to work in building a new coalition. When for instance she complained about illegal immigration and possible amnesty, she failed to see that based on the demographics and the reality of 12 million illegal immigrants in America that there is no other sustainable solution but legalization. Janet can kick all she wants but it will inevitably happen.

Another complaint of Janet was about TRAPP bill and expansion of government. Everyone has conveniently forgotten the abyss the country was facing late last year. Now all the measures put in place to halt it are now being seen as waste. Had financial system of America collapsed, people like Janet will not have the money to buy the stamp to mail her letter to Glenn Beck.

Whether it is Universal Healthcare, ACORN, Czars, or government control, Janet did not say anything different from what Glenn Beck has been screaming into her ears all these weeks. Apparently, those thousands of people who would have been out of work had the government done nothing would have a different view. And I guess, Janet has health insurance, otherwise, she will be busy praying that Congress does not mess up this time around.

Janet said she and her silent majority are coming. She needs not to scream about it. That is why there is election every four years. Let her mobilize and kick out all those she does not like in Washington. The ball is in her court. Or better still, she should run for office herself and go there and straighten things out. It is always easy to stay by the ring side and see how the boxers in the ring should have fought.

Give me a break.
