Everyone wants to live like stars. But nobody wants to die like stars.

There are essentially four ways to die. By accident. By natural causes. By suicide. Or by homicide.

Stars, like everyone else die by one of those four ways.

What makes the death of stars different is how they get there.

The life of a star takes a common trajectory.

After hard work, often supported by family, a star gets a break. The family backs the star up until the star feels he or she has become too big for the family to manage. The star is handed over to professional managers who see the star as a money-making object.

The professional managers know something stars do not know. They know that fame does not last forever. They are determined to get their own cut while it lasts.

To achieve that, they must concern themselves with one thing only – maximum milking of the star for financial purposes. The welfare of the star is secondary.

Often to get this absolute control of the star, the people around the star will alienate the star’s family and friends. The family is the ones who will say the star is too sick to perform. They are the one who will protest when the star is being pumped with drugs to make him or her get up to make some money of the managers.

Big stars like Bob Marley, Elvis and recently, Michael Jackson, have all perished in the same culture.

But it continues to thrive because the price one pays for being a star is to leave your mother and father and friends and go up in the sky and shine for the world to see until all lights are drained out of your soul and you become a dark matter.

The way the sky is designed, you cannot be a star without going through the module.
