Please, ignore the immodesty.

I have never had a brilliant idea all my life. I mean, I have had my own share of those ideas that end up making no sense. I once thought of how to get into the Guinness book of records. I came up with what I thought was a fascinating idea. I would write the longest letter to the Pope. Yes. I have a lot to tell the man of God. It sounded brilliant until I noticed that I wasn’t the first to come up with such an idea and if I were to beat the record I would spend a long time writing my letter.

I have spent a lifetime waiting for my own brilliant idea. I know we all get a chance to receive a brilliant idea. Some may have several chances but unlucky ones like me may just get one chance. So I was waiting patiently for my chance. Making a life a success or a failure depends on what we do with that chance.

So you can imagine how excited I was when the idea came to me. I screamed, “I got mine.” Brilliant.

I was going to test it yesterday. I was going to do the test 33,000 feet in the air. It was going to be exhilarating.

But as I rushed to make my flight from New York to Los Angeles for the Thanksgiving holiday, I forgot a major component of my plan. I forgot my GPS.

Now I need someone to try out my idea. It is a simple plan. I want to get into the plane with my car’s GPS system. I want to program my destination and see what the GPS direction will look like as the plane flies. I want to know how fast it will say turn right, turn left, make a U-turn, you have arrived. After I watch how it links to my destination in LA, my greatest theory then is that I will put Heaven’s address and watch as my GPS takes me there.
