In just one master stroke, John McCain neutralized Joe Biden even before the whistle is blown.

Yes. McCain gave Biden a 44-year-old nursing mother of five as an opponent. Now Joe Biden will have to find someone his size to beat up. There will be no staring in her face in a debate. With five young kids in tow, she might tear up. And America will hate Biden forever.

As political moves go, John McCain’s pick of little known first-term Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, was a game altering move.

It took a lot off the table.

Now we know experience does not really matter. For a woman who has governed a secluded state with more bears than people for less than two years to be one heart beat away from governing the United States, experience must be a Republican exaggeration.

Based on this choice, we also know that the polls were saying that Hilary Clinton’s women were not happy with Barack Obama. What we do not know is if that unhappiness persisted after the Democratic Party convention. If it does, McCain may have struck gold in Sarah Palin. If it doesn’t, it may be just decorated coal.

Sarah Palin is not a Hilary Clinton’s woman. She is a gun-loving, pro-life conservative who will force women to have every baby that ever implanted in their womb even if the baby was a product of rape, incest or one-night stance. She is a living proof of such - she chose to have a baby with Down Syndrome even when she was told at the early stage of the pregnancy that the baby had Down Syndrome.

If Hilary’s women vote for the Republican ticket because of Palin, they will be foreclosing on their Hilary becoming president, ever. As McCain’s Vice President, Palin would be the first woman to occupy that post. If McCain makes it through his presidency, after McCain, it would be Palin’s turn. An entitlement nobody, not even conservatives who truly believe that women should walk two steps behind their men, could deny her.

That would mean sixteen years of Hilary being locked out of the White House.

Of course, Hilary could run against Sarah Palin. But what chance would Hilary have? If Hilary manages to beat her male primary candidates who would of course want a male Democratic Party candidate to give all the misogynists of America an alternative, she would be running against a woman who had actually answered the 3.AM phone call.

If McCain fails to win with Palin, McCain will be transformed to a Mandel and Sarah Palin to a Geraldine Ferraro. The whole debacle could be interpreted in some quarters to mean that women are not really viable presidential candidates.

Whichever way that you look at it, McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin can only lead to Hilary Clinton’s political death knell.
